Speed relay WA-DR 6 E/A

The speed relay of the processor controlled relay family from WALCHER combines the features of a measuring converter for speed (2...10 V / 0...10 V) and a digital indicator instrument as well as supervisory- or switch-on relay for the oper-ation of an asynchronous machine on a 19" Europe-type circuit board. The speed detection is derived from a frequency measure-ment. The measured quantity is the remanence voltage of the rotating, unenergized machine, approx. 3...5 V. Therfore, no tacho-pulse generator or other sensing unit is required. The measuring input is designed for an input voltage of 0,7...450 V at continous running and is separated galvanic. For the free programmable switching values (relay outputs or optical couplers) an accuracy of 0,1 % will be attained. The tresholds for under- over and rated speed are predeter-mined by code switches. At first, the resolution will be adjusted stepwise between 0,1 % and 5 % by using P3. After that and separated for over- and underspeed, the respective tresholds can be predeter-mined with the desired multiplier by using P1 and P2. Exceptional feature: Both output relays are programmed in a way that they only put out the switch-on or "good" command at a synchronous speed. After reaching the switch-on speed, both relays are energized if: nu < n < no (holding-current principle) Please indicate the following data when ordering: Type: WA-DR 6 E/A (with display) or WA-DR 6 E (without display) Rated frequency, the equipment is adjusted to: 50, 60 or 400Hz Analog output adjustment: 2...10 V or special performance Example: 1 piece WA-DR 6 E/A, 50 Hz, 2...10 V
