The frequency relay of the processor controlled relais family from WALCHER combines the features of a measuring converter (0...10 V / 2...10 V), a digital indicating instrument as well as a controlling relay and a three-point controller on a 19" Europe-type circuit board. The switching values (relay outputs or optical couplers) are free programmable by digital switches and have an accuracy of 0,01 Hz. The resolution of the 4-digit LCD is also 0,01 Hz. The analog output, which is independant from the processor, has an accuracy of 0,5 %. To obtain a fine adjustment of the relay treshold for the overfrequency and underfrequeny adjustment, there is a total of three ten-stage code switches, P1, P2 and P4. At first, the resolution will be adjusted stepwise between 0,1 % and 5 % by using switch P4, which is located on the circuit board of the relay. After that and separated for over- and underfrequency, the respective tresholds can be predetermined with a desired multiplier by using the switches P1 and P2. The switching relays or optical couplers have a switching hysteresis of 80 % of the treshold, adjusted at P4. The measuring input is separated galvanic. At fu < f < fo (frequency is correct), both relays are energized (holding-current principle). Please indicate the following data when ordering: Type: WA-FR 6 E/A (with display) or WA-FR 6 E (without display) Rated frequency, the equipment is adjusted to: 50, 60 or 400 Hz Analog output adjustment: 2...10 V or special performance Example: 1 piece WA-FR 6 E/A, 50 Hz, 2...10 V
