Simple Connection
The WA-Max 3000 only needs the impulse of the measuring period of the power supply company and the power impulse (kWh-impulse) as input. Horary impulses are needed as potential-free contact . The power impulse may either be switched on via potential-free contact or an S0-interface, e. g. by the meter.
It is partly also furnished by the electricity suppliers. Where this is not the case, an own measuring with an impulse generator meter is arranged. If the second maximum is used, a potential-free contact is sufficient for switching over, presetting the second tariff time.

WA-Max 3000 lowers your electricity costs from the first minute on....
Your energy supply company calculates the electricity price according to how much power must be provided for your company. In case you need more power than required for your production only one single time per year, power supply is considerably higher than necessary and each kW may then cost much more than necessary. This is very annoying if it happens erronously or by poor management. If you lower your energy consumption by the peak loads, you can save considerably.
The micro-processor controlled Maximum Demand Monitor WA-Max 3000 gives you this security. Your demand requirement is controlled on the point. The WA-Max 3000 will amortize within a short time, because the max. demand monitor often already pays off within the first year of use.
Synchronously with the maximum meter of your energy supply company, WA-Max 3000 is measuring the actually used demand from the network. The available power potential is thereby projected and compared to the preadjustable target maximum. If the preset value is expected to be exceeded, second-rate consumers are switched off for a short time and then gradually switched on again. In that way, peak loads are avoided, your production is provided interrupted. By its flexible switching program the WA-Max 3000 is predestined for complex control tasks.
The control panel is clearly arranged and easily readable. The memory function enables scanning of the peak load of the last 30 days.
There are no off-periods because of our perfectly coordinated special computing program.
The controlling means reacts flexibly on the requirements of your company and allows short-term exceeding of the preset peak load (blinking LED above) without exceeding the programmed maximum. The control lines -off- and -on- are to be programmed individually into 10 steps — 3 % of the programmed maximum.
Thus, WA-Max 3000 is to be programmed quick- or slow acting. Besides the present consumption in kW, missing impulses are digitalized by LEDs. A watch-dog control switches off all connected consumers until the fault is repaired. The superior computing program cares for optimal, off period free control and balanced relations between low switching off frequency and switching off periods.
Different switching off sequences may be preselected; besides, switching off and reswitching may be done synchronously or in opposite direction, e.g. -FIFO- First In First Out. Furthermore, different programs can be run successively (rotating).
The WA-Max 3000 administers two different maxima which can be set between 0 and 9999 kW independently. Thereby, you can — in case your power delivery contract provides different prices for different day times - preselect a lower maximum at the -expensive- time to reach further savings.
